Study island benchmark test is due 12/20 at 2:30.
The assessment on the phone article and poem was given in class 12/19. Students that were absent must make up the assessment 12/20. Students can use the Action mag to help complete the assessment.

HOMEWORK TONIGHT- IF YOU DID NOT FINI9SH THE PUT IT TOGETHER  AND TEXT FEATURES PAGES IN THE HELP! MY PHONE IS TAKING OVER MY LIFE PACKET THE PACKET IS DUE BY 12/19. ALL THREE PAGES.  WE WILL GO OVER THIS AND IT WILL BE COLLECTED FOR A GRADE. EACH PAGE 15 PTS.

study island benchmark mid year

Study island benchmark are due 12/20. We will have time Wed in class to work on them after the quiz and Thuirsday. They are due by 12/20 end of school day.
You can get a pass from me any day this week to go to library to work on study island during your academic prep.

12/13-12/17

Students have been working on the study island benchmark 2 in class this week.  IT IS DUE DEC 20. Students may get a pass from me to work in library during their academic prep. We did not have a bell ringer this week, instead students completed point of view worksheet 1 , 5  passages a day and we went over them. Students had an extra day to complete this incase they were absent or behind.  This will be graded out of 40 points. Due 12/14.

 12/13-We will be doing paired text and stories from the Action magazine. Thurs, we will be doing Saving America's Wolves- text evidence,annotating and class discussion.

12/14- 12/17-We will be doing  paired text and lesson includes smartboard background on phone usage and two articles. Students will participate in large group lesson, small groups activity and independent work. packet with vocab and questions and short answer response will be included, along with a quiz s.

CLASSWORK 12/10-12/21 BENCHMARK 2 IS DUE 12/20.

THIS WEEK WE WILL NOT DO A BELL RINGER. WE WILL BE FINISHING THE LITERARY POV WORKSHEET IN CLASS #1-19 AND THE STUDY ISLAND PACKET 1-10.
WE WILL BE DOING THE BENCHMARK TEST FOR STUDY ISLAND ON 12/11, 12/12 AND 12/13. IF STUDENTS DO NOT GET FINISHED IN CLASS THEY MAY GET A PASS FOR ACADEMIC PREP. BENCHMARK IS DUE BY 12/20.

WHEN BENCHMARKS ARE FINISHED WE WILL BE DOING PAIRED TEXT FROM THE ACTION MAGAZINES, UNTIL 12/21.

 P 1,3,4,6,7,8-We are working on a comic strip assignment for point of view.  (Students were able to work in pairs or independently). we are working on this in class, but it must be completed for class Dec 6, so that we can do class activity Dec 6. IT WILL BE HOMEWORK IF NOT FINISHED IN CLASS DEC 5. ALL CLASSES WERE TOLD THIS WHEN ASSIGNMENT WAS GIVEN!
